Citrimax is a standardized, all-natural plant extract (rind of Garcinia cambogia) rich in hydroxycitric acid (HCA). HCA can help to suppress appetite, reduce food intake and inhibit the production of cholesterol in the liver. Glucose is produced in the body when carbohydrates are digested. If glucose is not used for energy, it is converted into glycogen until the glycogen stores in the liver and muscles are full. Then, the excess glucose is broken down into fat and cholesterol. HCA reduces fatty acid and cholesterol production in the liver by inhibiting the citrate cleavage enzyme.
