33% Eicosapentanoic Acid (EPA)(280 mg)
26% Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA )(220 mg)

Fish such as herring, mackerel, salmon, sardine and trout contain oils with high amounts of long-chain polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs) called omega-3 fatty acids. Moreover, these fish oils are especially high in the omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Fish oils are used for cardiovascular conditions, including stroke and heart disease, due to their anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombotic effects. Vasodilatory effects of omega-3 fatty acids in fish oils may also prevent increases in blood-pressure and maintain renal function. Fish and fish oils increase high-density lipoproteins (HDL) and decrease the total cholesterol to HDL ratio. Fish oils also increase fatty acid oxidation, reduce fatty acid synthesis and increase triglyceride uptake by the liver. Fish oils may also decrease cholesterol absorption from the gut and decrease cholesterol synthesis.
